Detectable Warning Pavers Installation
The Stainless Steel Advantage Tactile System is not classified as a paver for detectable warning pavers installation. It is available as Cast In Place, Replaceable Cast In Place and Surface Applied. However, if a highly durable detectable warning paver installation system is desired, for instance, to set in a curb ramp comprised of bricks, then the Advantage 24”x24” Cast In Place model can be pre-filled at our manufacturing plant and shipped to you. Or you can simply fill it yourself with a cementitious mix and allow it to dry for installation as a paver.

Detectable Warning Pavers Installation
Detectable warning pavers installation is generally manufactured of concrete or a mix of concrete and epoxy or fiberglass. These systems may not have the necessary compressive strengths or impact resistance to withstand the type of punishment inflicted on curb ramps. Often times, tractor trailers cut corners too sharply and drive over the edge of a sidewalk cracking the detectable warning or shattering it into a million pieces. By filling the Advantage Tactile System detectable warning pavers installation with concrete, it becomes fully reinforced and becomes the strongest possible way to prevent vehicular damage to the truncated domes.
